This is a great spot for a quick and reliably good bite. The polish dog (onions, mustard, peppers) w/ fries is a personal favorite. The burger are great; smash patty with special sauce. The double cheese is the way to go. Great location with a parking and picnic tables outside to eat. Great vibes on a summer day. Always friendly and fast service.

1st stop from airport, did not disappoint as start of Chicago dog tour. 2 of 3 loved the depression style addition of fries, for 3rd removing and eating fries seperate not a biggy. With that don't mind the no poppy seeds. The free earplugs so you can eat at a table under the L was needed. Steamed dog, roll great, the dragged through the garden toppings gave it an amazing overall taste. 2 of 3 want more celery salt, with the anti-celary salt contingent happy. The soft and squished and wrapped and covered in fries does not make this the most photogenic dog, but made it yummy. Friendly staff. Researched and went 4 best Chicago Dog places, did not disappoint, once you are in top tier you can and we did argue if this best. If want depression style (with fries in/on) go here. As a Mainer, the redhot confused me as our Red Dnappers are bright red dogs.

I heard the RHR Smash burger was good. I heard right! Stopped by during work for a quick lunch and got the Smash burger. It was pretty awesome. The fries are great too! A lot of people are offering a good Smash burger these days but for a quick fix, Red Hot Ranch delivers! Would definitely get this again. A lot of people were in there at the time but you receive your food quick! Perfectly cooked. I'm sure they have a good hot dog or polish too but the smash burger hits! Definitely try one. Thanks

After watching YouTubers "Number Six with Cheese"videos on the Chicago burger scene, I made the trek from Rockford down to the Red Hot Ranch on Armitage. I ordered the highly recommended double cheese smash burger and fries with a drink - the total was $10.50 for all items. Dining was outside under L tracks - let me tell you that train is LOUD when it roars over you! Very Cool The burger was good! It reminded me a lot of my years in LA eating at In & Out. The fries appeared to be handcut & seasoned with salt pretty well. Thank you Sean and Cory

I love this place. They have the best burgers and fries for a good price. The burger was juicy and love their sauce that they put on it. The fries are really good and flavorful. Just be aware it's cash only. But don't worry, they do have an ATM on site. Highly recommend.
